Kimberly + Hunter // Spring Wedding in Philadelphia, PA

Cary NC Wedding Photographer

I was absolutely over the MOON to document Kimberly and Hunter’s wedding last May in Center City Philadelphia. Their ceremony was held at S. Clement’s Church and the reception was at the luxurious Four Seasons. The space was incredible and the florals were probably my favorite I’ve ever photographed. It was a dreary day outside (soooo much rain!), but everyone involved made everything so bright and beautiful. So many special moments of excitement and joy!

Hunter and Kimberly, thank you from the bottom of my heart for having me. It was an unforgettable day! Enjoy some of my favorite memories…

First looks ALWAYS get my tears flowing. This one was no exception. So beautiful and such a privilege to witness the reveal!

After the first look, we were able to walk around the Four Seasons for portraits. The views from 50+ stories up and the floral installations were breathtaking.

I mean, just look at those bouquets. The colors, the textures, the compositions. Freaking gorgeous. And the women holding them, too!

We had some fun riding the escalator up (and down, and up again ;)) on the way to the reception.

I ADORE how the couple highlighted their love and advocacy for animals in their unique and stunning decor at the reception.

It was the bride’s brother’s birthday so they gave him a little toast. : )

The Lunsford Family // Raleigh, NC Family Photographer

Y’all, this family is GOLD. Playful, funny, genuine. I’ve known them for a long time and LOVE seeing and photographing them so very much. We created some really beautiful images together because they weren’t afraid to be silly with each other and their love for one another really shines through. Here are some moments from our time together at JC Raulston Arboretum.

Also! I’m doing fall minis this year. If you’re interested (there are only a couple spots left!), please message me through the contact form or send me an email and I can send you the details!

Sara + Mark // Chapel Hill, NC Wedding Photographer

Last Winter, I had the special honor of helping my friend and talented photographer Emily Baucom (based in Charleston, SC) shoot a wedding in Chapel Hill. I LOVE second shooting because it allows me to hang more in the background and capture more candid moments. I also love shooting allllll the pretty details. : ) Plus I loved hanging out with Emily, who I haven’t seen in YEARS. She’s a gem of a human.

Enjoy some of my favorites and also take a peak at Emily’s blog post for the full day!

You can’t travel with just any family. You know, when you have young kids, it’s a bit difficult. Lots of anxiety around daily schedules and personality clashes. But lemme tell ya: THIS family is easy to love. The kids got along SO well and so did the adults. ; )

Last December, we met our friends in Florida for a week’s stay on Anna Maria Island. We absolutely LOVE this crew. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful island by taking group bike rides together. And we also took bike rides to get ice cream and doughnuts. : ) The house we stayed in was OFF THE CHARTS beautiful, and the amenities kept the kiddos entertained for hours.

On one of our last days, I snapped a few portraits of our friends at the beach close to sunset. I love how they turned out! Miss you guys. Where and when are we going next? : )

Still catching up on my editing! I photographed these ADORABLE cousins and their parents last fall in Philly. These families are so dear to me, and I feel privileged to capture the budding personalities of these kiddos as they grow older.
