Baby Girl Tuck's Shower at Gather NC

If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know that I BLEW UP your feed a week or so ago with photos from my baby shower in Cary, North Carolina, at THE cutest little shop called Gather. I loved this day.

I wanted to brag on my incredible friends who threw this shower: Nicole and Mary couldn't have made it more perfect or more my style. Delicious food and drink & gorgeous favors and flowers set to the most adorable backdrop of a shop you ever did see! I mean, come on... succulents, mason jars, products featured from local artists... it was truly the most perfect gathering. : ) And I was SO happy to see the friends who could make it to the shower. I hadn't seen some of them in three years, so it was wonderful being able to catch up. Thanks for coming and bringing such awesome handmade gifts, y'all!

ALL of the food was made by Mary and Nicole, and the strawberry doughnuts and Nutella cheesecakes were among the favorites!

Mary crafted these flower vases etched with girls' initials who attended the shower via a tutorial from The Beautiful Mess. I was so delighted; they made a beautiful centerpiece.

We played a word scramble game... so fun.

And I took photos of my friend Danielle's baby girl Rosalee, who was seven weeks new at the time. : ) Look how precious!

My parents-in-law made this awesome diaper cake, and my mom gave me the outfit I came home from the hospital in as well as my baby doll growing up. So sentimental and sweet.

LOOK AT THIS SHOP! How amazing is it?! If you live in North Carolina, I encourage you to take a trip there. You won't regret it!

MEREDITH + RYAN ENGAGED!

Let me start off by saying that I am SO happy for these two. Meredith is a dear friend from college who has found a soul mate in Ryan. They are both CrossFit fanatics and they met at Meredith's brother's gym, CrossFit Brave. I love couples who love to sweat together! : ) We started out their engagement shoot with a holiday-inspired picnic at the North Carolina Museum of Art, which is such a great outside space. The architecture is so inspiring, and we had fun frolicking in the Rodin sculpture garden, especially. At the end of the session, we stopped at the Capitol in downtown Raleigh for some shots in Ryan's uniform. He was just deployed a week ago for about 10 months (thanks for your service, Ryan), which breaks my heart for Meredith, but I hope these moments bring her many smiles remembering snuggling up to her man!

CAMERON + BRANDON - The Arbors Wedding

Cameron and Brandon know how to have FUN, and I love that about them. Their wedding day was full of emotion, and I enjoyed every second. And just look at how gorgeous they are!

Cameron and Brandon were married on a chilly but beautiful day at the end of October in Cleveland, North Carolina at The Arbors. I loved this venue because it had a rustic chic vibe to it, and it fit their wedding style perfectly. Cameron's dress was SO beautiful on her, and the bouquets were perfect. I also loved the charming dessert display and adorable cake toppers.

My favorite memories of Cameron and Brandon's special day included Brandon seeing Cameron for the first time (surprise, surprise! I'm a sucker for the groom's face at this moment) and the toasts. IRA: BABY

Meet baby Ira. He will tug at your heartstrings -- that's the truth. Isn't he SO unbelievably adorable?! I'm extremely thankful to Jenna + Harrison for introducing me to Nola, Josh, Ira and Nico (their pup!). After spending only a couple of hours with this sweet family, it was evident how much love they share. Enjoy precious baby Ira at around two months old -- look, he's waving to you! : )

CLARE + HAMILTON - Claxton Farm Wedding

Ohhhh these two. THESE TWO. I think these two people are SO selfless and SO wonderful. Their wedding day is one of my all-time favorites! No exaggeration.

Clare and Hamilton's wedding was so, SO wonderful. Everyone was so chill yet so ON TIME. This makes for a super happy photographer. : ) Everything about the day was dreamy. Some favorite things that come to mind...

-The weather. It was a PRISTINE day, and the temperature was perfect. -The emotion. During the ceremony, Clare's hilarious uncle officiated and had all the guests laughing. I love it when an officiant throws in personal anecdotes about the couple's relationship; it makes the ceremony so much more special. Also, the couple's sweet vows to each other choked up quite a few (including me). -The rustic, beautiful tablescapes. Along with the gorgeous florals from Sweet Earth Flower Farm (love their sustainable methods!), Clare's mom and sister worked hard on the decor and it was SO lovely. -The attire. I LOVED Clare's dress and the fact that all the ladies in the wedding party (including the bride!) wore boots making it easy to walk around for photos. : ) And the guys looked pretty handsome too. ; ) -The band was excellent, which made for a rockin' dance floor full of guests! -The venue. This is my fourth time photographing a wedding at Claxton Farm, and I LOVE taking in the gorgeous scenery and the serene atmosphere each and every time.
